These photographs have been edited to better bring out the colours, shapes and cut out any unnecessary background (that could be a distraction from the piece.)
However in the one on the right I have adjusted the brightness of particular aspects within the photo, the clouds looking a more pleasant white.
I refined this image by increasing the contrast, lowering brightness to bring out the shadows (to the left of image) and experimenting with 'sharpness'. I found that by increasing the sharpness, the texture of the marshmallow can be seen better by the observer- after all the whole point of using marshmallow is to reflect the texture and appearance of clouds whilst exploring alternate methods of presenting my photography. In this image I also used the 'brighten tool', making the clouds printed on the marshmallow more a white colour (same applies to the marshmallow itself).
I mainly took this image to show the thickness of the marshmallow my photo was printed on, showing that I had done something different rather than printing on something flat (photo paper).
